A Call to the Youth

After a long war we won our independence from the British and this was a Herculean task of building a nation rich in entity, economy, values, and making all progress .The intelligentia of that time did a commendable job by framing a perfect constitution for this democratic nation. But building India is a huge task and what has been done till now is just a drop in a bucket. We face problems of corruption , unemployment , over-population , poverty , child-infanticide , dowry etc. We are trying to find a solution to all these but on a very superficial level . We are giving quotas like giving crutches and we are not exactly giving permanent solutions to any of our problems . India needs to get educated and not literate , we need to get value education along with technical skills and education that can make us better citizens to enhance the development of the country.

What shall the youth do for this?

Youth has energy , radical thinking and thus better revolutionary ideas . They have confidence and vision.

Youth of India needs to become participatory in all aspects to all shades of the society . We need not just run for becoming engineers or doctors but also industrialists and politicians . We need to realise that this is our nation and thus our responsibility to grow by a better growth of the growing youth.

The solutions to all the contemporary problems lie in radical thinking like for tackling the problem of terrorism we need to act like Indira Gandhi . What she did in Punjab was criticised heavily but that is the thing which proved to be a permanent solution to a 75 years old problem . She could do that because she had learned to be radical in approach from her father. We to have to imbibe that quality in us . We have to remove corruption and illiteracy . We have to become Kalaam , Narayanmoorthy , Kiran and Teresa . We also have to be Gandhi and Tagore . After all it is on our shoulders to make India such that our children have proud on us!!
