NOT-IN VAIN!!

A ray of distant hope...
crosses across the horizon...
my heart enlightens….
all – in vain … … …!!
I had seen a woman, yesterday…
she had just begun to be.
she wished to fulfill her liability...
all - in vain … … …!!
A man was breaking stones,
to make a home with them,
he wished to see happiness….
all – in vain … … …!!
A few had died for freedom,
A few to save the kingdom,
generations’ best laid down the way for future to come,
all – in vain … … …!!
When millions died......
then peace was prized,
Hitler…..Gandhi…..died…
all – in vain … … …!!
People come and go,
teaches the one in row,
the Greater Majority silently cries….
all – in vain … … …!!
All the water on this earth,
had…once been blood…
these oceans teach us peace,
all – in vain … … …!!
They showed us certain rights,
then took all the bright,
a few did try against,
all – in vain … … …!!
They still make ‘just-wars’,
killing millions on the spot,
Peace dies on paper….
all – in vain … … …!!
If all together don’t rise,
STATUS QUO remains SINE DIE,
This time let’s CHANGE,
REVOLUTION for PEACE,
and NOT-IN VAIN………!!
