FEAR

I fear not what I may fail to achieve,

for they are lofty dreams,

ideals, values and noble thoughts,

that made my heart pious…

I fear what I may achieve,

for they will constitute

the bitter truths,

the reality of my being,

and

my role in the state of affairs…

for it will represent

the difference I made

and its distance

from the difference

that I could have made…
