A sudden darkness
crawls onto my skin
reaching my head bit by bit
Petrified, I watch motionless
A sudden realisation strikes
you are it's antidote
the only saviour
I scream for you
but my voice fails
no noises are made in such darkness
When I am neck deep in this
I give up
and accept it as fate
and then
it crawls up a little more
drowning me in it
everyday.
